One of the best ways you can support us is to start campaigning. There are loads of ways to do this including emailing your local MP, MSP or councillor and asking what they are doing to end the need for food banks. Or you can join a nationwide campaign we are involved in. We are members of Independent Food Aid Network and of the Poverty Alliance. We recommend you follow both and take part in campaigns they both run.

Volunteering at Broke Not Broken is a tremendously rewarding thing to do. It can widen your social circle, give you a sense of purpose, and also a feeling of really doing something meaningful to make your local community a better place for everyone to live. We offer a few different roles, including delivering parcels, making up food parcels, helping at our parent and toddler group, helping on family away days, gardening in our veggie garden, helping with the admin and book-keeping, sorting school uniforms. There is really never a dull moment!
